Semra Kuytul Hocahanim’s statement is as follows: In these hard times we are going through, does the media, which behaves like vultures, continues with unethical behaviour. I am still behind the sentence I stated a few days ago. They think they are able to harm us but after the truth will come out they will try to hide away because of their self-abasement in the dunya and the akhira.
Due to the difficult time within the last two days we have not been able to make a written statement. Those who got encouraged by this continued spread of lies.
It is said that the safe of the foundation was found and that there was an amount of money I do not know!
The amount of money is not even surprising at all! It is an amount that is barely sufficient for services concerning education and scholarships, as well as, other expenses spread throughout the entire year. This money, of course, has to be put into the safe of the foundation.
This thing is treated as no one knew what this money is used for. The air conditioning system alone is the reason for some of the monthly electricity bills of 2000 TL each respective one floor of such a big building.
Where do we have this money from?
All those who know us would surely subscribe to what I am telling you: First, from us, second, from those brothers and sisters who support the Islamic Dawa
We only donate this money in order to support the Dawa, it is all registered. Official accounting inspections are conducted, too.
Imam Alparslan Kuytul has never used one cent from the foundation for individual interests and he is even donating one part of the amount of money which he inherited from his father.
He does not even have an own car.
All our brothers and sisters are able to testify that I use public transport in order to go to the foundation.
We do not know rich people. Our Rabb helps us and Imam Alparslan Kuytul is modest as he is in all other matters and he makes sure that all our brothers and sisters do not waste their money. Those who know him can testify that whenever something has to be bought for the foundation, even if it is a normal door handle, he asks many traders for prices and tells us to buy the cheapest and robust one.
This makes clear that the donations have always been used for services that are necessary and that we are not wasting it.
SO PEOPLE, WHO DONATED FOR ALLAH’S SAKE DO NOT NEED TO BE AFRAID!
THE MONEY WAS NOT FOUND IN THE ACCOUNTS OF INDIVIDUALS; IT WAS FOUND IN THE SAFE OF THE FOUNDATION!
It shall be used for Allah… They say that there is a secret passage within the foundation. This is a big act of BACKBITING made by Akit Tv!!!
This picture was not taken in the foundation. Where does Akit Tv have it from? They say that there is a secret door within a wardrobe. There is no such a thing. We do have stairs that lead to the basement. The basement of the building is used for a project of the foundation and the SODES (Social Support Program) project, which is supported by the government.
Some websites, have written that there are classrooms for education. I want to remind you: We are FURKAN EDUCATION AND SERVICE FOUNDATION! IT IS NORMAL THAT THERE ARE CLASSROOMS. Everyone knows that there are given free lessons by volunteer teachers for students, who prepare for exams and for university. So why is it surprising that there is a board on the wall? They did not find any weapons! Not any drugs! They have found classrooms in an educational foundation. These classes are open for all people. I heavily condemn those who present the case as if they have found something secret by using misleading expressions and therefore cause a wrong perception of us.
Moreover they say that limitless scholarships are given to medical and law students! There is no such a treatment. Given scholarships are not based on the faculty the students attend. I do not even know whether we have a medical student who is regularly receiving scholarships from us. People who are career orientated do not get in touch with us anyway because Imam Alparslan Kuytul is in a risky position. The reason for that is that he is speaking the truth.
Those who try to drag our name through the dirt will not be successful!
Today, I went to our foundation building together with some of our friends. There is a water cannon vehicle, a bus of the riot police and police forces who are keeping watch in front of the door with shields.
The searching etc. is completed; I asked the chief police officer who was present why they are still waiting here although all work has been done. “We are responsible for the security here” he said. Actually, this is something that has to be done. After those, who usually were responsible for the protection of the foundation, were detained, the foundation is protected by the state. “We feel comfortable about that, but regarding the traffic, our foundation is located at a street, which can be seen as the centre of Adana: Abidinpasa caddesi. The street is used by almost all public service vehicles. There is a view that is not nice. Therefore we spoke to the chief police officer concerning this issue. For the people it might look like we would be a terror organization. A water cannon vehicle and almost thirty policemen are positioned there. This might be a necessary procedure but it is problematic for people’s perception of us. Can we find another form of this action?” we asked.
He answered that he will pass the complaint to a superior. He did. I want to thank him for that. Actually the police is standing there because the process of questioning is not finished yet.
Because of the same reason, activities of our foundation have been stopped for a certain period of time. So everybody is waiting for the result. The prosecution will prepare a bill of indictment and according to that the judicial process will begin. So, these are normal processes. A process of lawsuit has been started against us with a raid. We as well do not know the reason yet. Although there is no court decision, some news agencies report that the Furkan Foundation is closed. Are you a journalist or a judge? Even the governorship does not do that even though it has the authorisation. Instead they are using the following expression: the activities of the foundation have been stopped because the process of lawsuit is not completed yet.

Those who like us can breathe a sigh of relief, at least for a while. People are tarnishing our image and now we are in the process of proving our innocence. I believe that this period will prove that our foundation and our intention are clean.
Another topic is that information that even our lawyers do not have, because of confidentiality order, is served by the media. They also add information that is based on lies.
There must be a spy in the Police. Who is it? This question arose in my mind, due to the fact that parts of videos of the films Police recorded have been broadcasted. This means that there is someone or there are some people who break the secrecy of this top confidential operation. We reported this issue to the authorities and they told us that they are dealing with it. We hope that effective steps will be carried out regarding this problem.
Those who like Imam Alparslan Kuytul can breathe a sigh of relief. This period will end somehow and we will continue our work from where we stopped.
